Inauguration of Sankara Advaithashramam for Global Enlightenment (SAGE) on August 9th at Milpitas, California, USA

This momentous event marks the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to spiritual wisdom and global understanding. The ceremony was inaugurated by Pujya Tattwamayananda Swamiji.

The inauguration was held in the revered presence and blessings of Pujya Chidananda Puri Swamiji (Founder of Advaithashramam, Kerala, India, The Permanent Director of SAGE), Pujya Tattwamayananda Swamiji (Minister-in-chief Vedanta Society of San Francisco (Ramakrishna Mission)), Dr. Romesh Japra ji (Cardiologist, Founder of FOG & A4H), Sujata Joshi ji (Regional Head, HSS), Anil Surpur (President, YogaBharati USA), Pushpita Prasad (Chief Comm. Officer, CoHNA) and Rakhi Israni (Director of Public Relations, Sewa International)

SAGE, a 501c(3) nonprofit organization has been formed under the guidance and leadership of Pujya Chidananda Puri Swamiji. Swamiji’s vision is to make the universal principles of Vedanta accessible in today’s world — promoting unity, personal growth, and interfaith understanding. SAGE aspires to be a sanctuary for spiritual seekers, offering a space to study, reflect, and live the timeless truths of Advaita as taught by Adi Shankaracharya. Especially in these challenging times, Swamiji believes that Vedanta’s teachings can guide individuals and communities toward lasting peace and unity.
