Swami Chidananda Puri is a renowned teacher of Vedanta, Orator, Author and Social Reformer

In 1989, Swamiji accepted Sanyasa Deeksha from Brahmaleena Parama Poojya Swami Vidyananda Giriji Maharaj, the 10th Acharya of Kailasashramam, Rishikesh.

Swamiji established Advaithashramam in 1992, in the rural village of Kolathur, Kozhikode, Kerala. Swamiiji is the Founder and Managing Trustee of Sri Sankara Charitable Trust which has 12 other branches across India, all functioning as Centers of Vedanta studies & Sanatana Dharma. They provide monthly Vedanta classes, annual retreats, long-term Vedanta courses for dedicated students. Beyond his spiritual leadership, Swamiji holds esteemed positions in various organizations, including President of Margadarsaka Mandal, Kerala, President of Kerala Dharmacharya Sabha, Managing Trustee of Madhvanandashram Gausala Trust, Mahemadabad, Gujarat, Trustee of Adi Sankara Samskrutika Ekata Nyas, Madhya Pradesh snd many more. 

Swami Chidananda Puri served as the Chair for Sanatana Dharma Studies, and was a visiting Professor of Sanatana Dharma Peetham at University of Calicut. Swamiji is the Chief Editor of Advaithasramam Sathsangam, a monthly magazine in Malayalam. Swamiji has written many books and over 60 have been published so far. Swamiji has received numerous prestigious awards in recognition of his outstanding service from various Dharmik organizations. Swamiji has delivered speeches and conducted classes and camps in many countries like Sultanate of Oman, United Arab Emirates, USA, Czech Republic, Italy, UK, Singapore, Australia, Bahamas, Greece and Canada.
